I'm knee deep in Beth Moore's study on James and am taking her challenge to memorize it, so I've got the whole "consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds.....blessed is the man who perseveres under trial....." going through my brain. It dawned on me today as I was thinking about you that if I were in your particular trial right this moment, I wouldn't be able to even consider the whole "consider it pure joy" without some miraculous help from God. And then it was like God tapped on my heart or whispered in my ear that I should pray that for you, in case those words weren't even something you could say or think about right now. So that is what I'm praying for you - that you will daily find joy, peace, hope, and His presence with you in this brutal struggle you are in.

It's like that story in the Bible with Moses (I think it was him) who had to keep his arms up so the Israelites could keep winning a battle. If he put them down, they started losing. But he got tired and needed people to be his arm-holders. That's what you need. You don't know me, but I'll be one of your arm holders in prayer as you walk through this season. And may God keep His promise to grow perseverance in you and to make you "mature and complete, not lacking anything." My prayer is that all you'll be lacking is cancer. =)Inklinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02775312085301951675noreply@blogger.com
